We are proud to announce that we are an "A" rated school again, where children come first. We offer a differentiated curriculum which meets the diverse needs of our students. Administrators and support staff are highly visible and available. Horizon works as a team to ensure student success. We will always do our very best to return your child home, the same way he came to school...only a little smarter.
We encourage you to become a part of our PTA, SAC, and SAF. We welcome you as a partner in your child's education. Together, we will make a positive impact on the growth and development of your child. Don't be a stranger, become a part of the Horizon community where;
EVERY CHILD, EVERY DAY, WHATEVER IT TAKES.
Please go to the Parent Involvement page for more information on the implementation of Common Core State Standards and the key revisions to the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade report cards, interims, and conference forms.

ATTENTION PARENTS
The Broward County Public School’s 2012-2013 Annual Customer Survey of our district’s students, instructional staff/teachers, and parents will be underway throughout all elementary, middle, and high schools. This year’s surveys will be administered online to all students in grades 3 through 12, to all full-time instructional staff/teachers, and to all parents/guardians. Students and teacher surveys will be administered from February 19th to March 15th. Parent surveys will be administered online beginning February 11th and will run through March 21st. The Parent survey is available online through Virtual Counselor at http://www.browardschools.com/virturalcounselor/bsvc/loginparentsurvey.asp.
If you do not have access to a computer, you may request a paper copy by contacting this school at 754-322-6450.
It is important for students, instructional staff/teachers, and parents/guardians to participate to ensure that valid conclusions can be drawn from the results. We appreciate the advice students, instructional staff/teachers, and parents/guardians give us each year and encourage everyone to take a few minutes to participate.
Following administration, student, teacher, and parent data will analyzed and summarized in individual school reports. Results will be available in April 2012.
